Data Version. The functionality is not restricted in any way but the charts all display a message saying "Evaluation Version, Please licence me". Latest Version is 1.20.1 released on 8/Jan/2009 This download includes a word document called Duplex User Manual.doc, not surprisingly this is the user manual. |

PerBI is available under a fixed price quarterly
licence agreement. This allows you to try the software at a minimal cost and us to eventually make a profit. Once we have received a purchase order a full Commercial version of the software will be supplied along with the first quarter's invoice, after this the licence is automatically billed quarterly in advance. There are no long term commitments the licence agreement can be cancelled at the end of any quarterly period. Updates to PerBI are included in this licence, they will be made available for download at your expense. |

Concurrent Users PerBI can be installed on as many computer as you wish but you must have a licence for the number of users that will be using it at the same time. To clarify; XYZ Ltd has 50 staff, 40 desktops and 25 laptops. XYZ Ltd can install PerBI on all 65 computers for the £18 fee provided that only one of these 65 computers is ever using PerBI at the same time. There is no locking within PerBI to enforce this, we are trying to be fair with you, so please return the favour. The basic premise of our pricing model is that we believe in the product, because of this we aren't required to make our profit up front, we are quite happy for it to come in over time. We did consider a monthly licence, but for users with one copy, the £6 licence fee would barely cover the administration costs. The licence fee will alter to reflect any changes made to taxation. |

Support is offered on a Goodwill Only basis, this means that at a time convenient to us we will
make some effort to answer your question. This is more
of a legal definition than a statement of attitude, but do
remember that if you are paying £6(ish) a month there is not
a lot of room to offer support. Not withstanding the above any questions that concern possible "bugs" are "actioned" as soon as possible consistent with other obligations, however a "dim view" will be taken on misuse of this privilege. Because PerBI contains the scripting language ASL, you may find that you know that something can be done, but are not sure how to start it or complete it. In these cases where there may be a substantial amount of work, we would normally be willing to agree a fixed price for that task. |
